Thats why within 5 years your 60k car drops to 50% of its value and you end
up spending a shit load on maintenance costs
It’s all worth it cause its German engineered right? Pay for premium
engineering ..but you still end up in the dealership like a jackass paying
a shit load for maintenance compared to a car engineered by an
‘inferior’ manufacturer which visits the mechanic less frequently. Makes
sense.

Lexus is still an appliance, like all other toyotas – moving ass from A to
B. Infiniti is clearly a lot of fun either driving daily or race it on a
track.
I dig the Lexus front end. The Infiniti front looks cheap to me.

I really do like the Lexus brand but they have got to downsize on the grill
it sorta reminds me of when Acura had that giant beak like grill on its
2009 Acura TL that was major turn off!

The Q50 performs better at all levels, yet the winner is… the IS. LOL.

infinity looks boring, and plain, so much so that it’s actually a crime you

This review is ridiculous! The Infiniti was clearly superior in every
single way, yet the reason why the horrifically styled Lexus won was
because the Q50 is too firm? What biased crap! Tell you what,here’s a
recipe for one of the best Sedans you’ll ever drive……. Take one 2014
Q50S Hybrid, add a free-flowing exhaust from the headers, install a Garret
turbo at 10PSI and sit it on an Accuair 4 point suspension system……. M5
killer. Infiniti is awesome!

I would perfer the Lexus .. The grill looks cool and if it has the interior
like the LFA then its worth my money .. The base price and as is price is
not bad and I would also get a better resale value for the car .. Did I
mention since its the luxury brand from Toyota that really tells me this
car is durable and will last longer ..

Not being racist or stereotypical, but I am going to give my opinion. Looks
are subjective, and just as you Americans like Chargers and Challengers,
which are ugly to pretty much the rest of the world, we love cars like the
Lexus IS. You may be shocked, but as mentioned above, I can say the same
thing.

Man lexus needs to change that ugly ass design, maybe they should go back
to the older body style

Agree that the IS is not attractive and it is no better in person. The
side panels and greenhouse line is so dull, then you have the
overly-designed front and rear – like a librarian with bobby pins in her
hear trying to wear fishnets with stilettos. The Q is better but that
C-pillar just looks desperate to be unique and I strongly dislike the Q
interior. And, frankly, both cars lag behind the 3 and S4 significantly in
performance.
Neither car wins, they both suck in comparison to the Germans.

ford is/was an American! American car have come lengths and bounds these
days and it’s hard to compete with today’s horse power and style with these
two cars! How could anyone compare apples with oranges! I’ll keep my

I don’t like the new Lexus “brand ” look on their grill. It’s too jagged
and plastic… or something? I certainly identify them immediately. But not
a good kind of recognition.
Fifty more hp is always nice, but I’d rather Lexus put the car on a diet
and best the first gen IS350s 0-60 time of 4.9 seconds.

I can recall when Japanese cars were light and everyone made fun of the
bloated American cars of the 70s. Guess what?, modern cars are now heavier
than those very cars that were the butt of every joke. I think it’s
ludicrous that a Corolla (as most others in its class) weighs 1.5 tons.
I don’t need power seats and blind spot monitors and so on, and so forth,
to make my car heavier. I “learned” how to drive a car several decades ago
and can tell you that I’ve yet to need those nannies and the downside they
bring bring with them (i.e. weight and complexity).
