I have the same problem. I got the engine rebuilt and the mechanic told me
it was my lifters. The noise went away then a week later it came back. Then
he told me it was my rear cat. I got that fixed. Noise was saddle after and
now It only does it when I accelerate. Can anyone tell me wat could be
wrong.

Its ur timing chain
Do a valve adjustment. As a Nissan head over 12 years, adjust those valves
with a feeler gauge.
