@eStorm: ya..i know. But if buy the slip ring at eBay, i think its high
cost delivery to Bali, Indonesia. And also take a month to delivery.
And now i have replace the alternator. And also i have sold my car. Hehe
Excellent video – very clear information – thank you!
muchas gracias amigo muy instructivo, no entiendo el idioma pero no lo
necesite. Se entendió muy bien todo
Very nice video part 1 & 2 .I never seen that in 25 years .The solder is
maybe not the same meltingpoint as electronic things, but higher.
Very fine video !
You’re are the best! Thank you!
right folks have changed brushes, slip ring,do i need to check continuity
between two copper poles, have put back together and not charging its not
shorting to ground thanks any help would be great love yas !
good work..and easy to follow..;-)
noob mechaniker
I have just installed the sliprings and soldered. Still – I am a bit unsure
weather there should be a connection between the two copper-rings. There
are no connection to ground from either, but they do connect to eachother,
is this as it should be?
Is this guy good or what !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Мне показалось или действительно, в сказанном есть фраза на русском языке?
8:50 ????
Where is the 6303 bearing supposed to go?
Great video guys…..i have a same type of the alternator. but I can find
the store who sell the slipring. So I think I will replace entire of the
alternator..
Thank you so much for taking the time to show us this. Some very valuable
knowledge here. It is hard these days to get anyone to actually repair
something, they all want to replace the whole component! At our expense of
course! Thank you again!
That was a great video man :-). I’ve been having a hard time with this, but
this will definitely help out a lot :-). Is changing one off a NipponDenso
basically the same way?
150A Valeo rotors also got same faulty with moving coil. Not so much as
125A, but also got.
Nice video. This guy has the biggest soldering iron out there…
excellent
Beeping is not to good to test, you should test the resistance and it
should be something like 2-4 Ohm for 12V rotor. Beeping will be also for
0,5Ohm but it will be faulty.
Excellent video.. anybody knows some good soldering wired to make this type
of jobs at good price? mine, is very weak..
And all this time,I thought they used a lathe, and expensive test equipment
, to do that.
Guess they fooled me…or someone did.
Fantastic training skills, really clear and informative.
Great stuff, this is saving me a lot of money! Ok, it takes a bit of time
but it’s a good feeling to have done it yourself. Thanks for posting!
how to fix pajero mk1 ALTERNATOR
He looks like Michael Schumacher…
Looks good. I recommend you use a higher quality bearing or pull the
seals, clean the old grease and use a high quality moly grease. Those
bearings will be noisy in no time. Alternator bearings are subjected to
immense heat and electrolysis. With that you will have an A1 top quality
rebuild that will last as long as the brushes.
really helped me
Awesome
Hi Martin,
I have been doing my own work on my cars over the years (Not a
professional) and on occasion would be without my vehicle for between 1
week and ten day waiting for replacement parts, (Alternator, Starter etc).
I always assumed that it was financially not worth repairing such items.
THANK YOU, you have opened my eyes, I could have repaired alternator or
stater in hours. By the way Kudos on your E-Bay store, excellent
availability and advice..
Again Thank You for all your advice here.
Tom
What size bearing puller do you use?
Nice performance, way to go.
Another professional demonstration, good job!
Could you please make SOME videos “How to test alternator rectifier by
VOM?” ? Thanks a lot 🙂
thanks… good job..
good job
