so why take a stock airbox then put a pod
filter then a heat shield? makes no sense.
Note that pod filters that are not in an enclosed box are illegal (at least
in QLD)

filter is a better choice etc etc. doesn’t actually do anything except
increase induction noise.
Pod filters can also damage O2 Sensors and MAF/MAP sensors by going outside
the set manufacture O2 values.
