Thanks so much, I was able to avoid a very costly repair thanks to your video. You give confidence in attempting this fix.

@KyornBread says:

I ordered the driver seat panel from my dealership for my Hyundai Sonata 2015 and they said it wouldn't fit. It looks exactly like yours.

Update:
After watching your video I tried installing the driver seat panel myself and was successful. Just had to use a little force. I'm not sure why their mechanics could not put it on. Must not be properly trained.

i just replaced my switch and now my seat can recline and come back up properly. thanks for your video!

@JeffJacobs1953 says:

My dealer wanted 425 dollars to replace the seat switch on my 2019 Tucson

Have this same issue on my 2015 sonata limited both seats!! They should really fix this or recall. Can you get the buttons also mine fell off?

@petervaccaro4252 says:

Thanks you were a big help

Thank you brother. Just watched this video and installed the piece in my friends Hyundai. The rear connectors were a bit of a pain so I rewatched that part. Smacked it just like you did and it popped right into place. IOU huge, thanks so much!!!

@buddyboy4x44 says:

Great video. I did exactly the same job on a 2015 Sonata. The weaknesses in the part are criminal and should not exist. I used the metal frame parts on the seat side under the side plate. I drilled a strategically placed hole at the front and another at the rear of the panel and drilled into the metal. I then simply screwed the plastic side onto the seat. The screws are virtually unnoticeable and the side is very secure. If I thought a replacement side would be stronger than the original I would have bought one. Not being the case, I used two screws for a total cost of zero (old screws). Unless you seek out that specific area visually, it cannot be seen.

Here’s a tip. I thought I’d raise the seat all the way up to make it a little easier, and it was until it came time to connect the wire harness. Couldn’t do it. I had to lower the seat in order to make the connection above a thin piece of welded rod. I’m also having a hard time getting the rear tabs in. The front and center are good. Will try again when my hands warm up.

The panel holder at the front broke would there be anything else insteadof buying the whole thing

@elirush8508 says:

Guru, thank you for doing this video. I'm going to attempt to fix my girlfriends Tucson with this solution, but want your opinion. The vehicle's seat performs all other movements, but the back of the seat was only going back for some time, but not forward. Now, the other day the lever got stuck for a minute when I closed the door and trapped the seat belt between each and held the lever down and now the back doesn't move at all and their is no sound either when you hit the switch in either direction. Do you believe the motor might need replaced or the switch still? Thank you for any thoughts.

Just had to replace my driver side heated seat and 1 week after the repair, my seat panel fell off. Because of this video I knew exactly what happened, which was the same issue. The dealer broke the center clip. I just sent the dealer this video and told them to order another panel. Thanks for this video!!!! You just helped me deal with the dealer!

@walterrichardson6628 says:

Thank you so much. You saved me a lot of dough. It was a little dicey at the end but we got it done. Many thanks!

@stevencorbo1220 says:

This just happened to my 2015 Hyundai sonata limited so I appreciate the video

@patcharlton8837 says:

@thomasskrabala8044 says:

Thanks for this video. It was a great help with the repair of my 2018 Honda CRV. The only such video I found in my search.

@Rickyg420 says:

I haven’t watched the whole video but is there one showing how to replace the seat motor?

@donnamiller5937 says:

Thank you so much. I have this problem with a Captiva . The panel broke off and I though I might be able to fix is. This is just the information I needed. I'am a 66 year old retired women who has never done anything like this in my life. I learned a lot using YouTube and thought to give it a try. I could not think of what to call the seat panel or how it came off or where to get it. I cant thank you enough. So now I will get to work finding the part and fixing it. Another note is while driving one day I was putting something in side pocket and hit the control that made the seat move forward and I could not stop it. Pulled over cause I could not breath ,funny now but not now so it has to be fixed.

@miguelm3676 says:

Thank you very helpful I will do it in a Toyota RAV 4 Driver side.

@Gabrielpedraza1098 says:

Nice video. I had to replace the seat switch at the dealer and shelled out $125 for the switch and $165 for labor. I tried to remove the trim but didn't feel comfortable as it didn't want to come out and I didn't want to break it. I was told this is a part that breaks frequently. I'm ready now for the next time this happens.

@nathan2803 says:

Shorten your videos, focus on what you have to do. Focus on the main goal!

@watdaFUFUF says:

The panel Says there an airbag under my seat? Will that make it set off just trying to mess with it?

@TVJ4EVER_CHANNEL says:

Is it cover on warranty? The power seat if its not working well?

@scott4172 says:

It’s a poorly designed part. It’s a weak point on all 2015-2019 LF sonatas

@dustyrusty2572 says:

My 2017 Hyundai Tucson back brace leaver stop working when trying to go back. It works ok in going forward. What is the cause n how do I fix it myself?
