Hyundai wanted to charge me $134 for the mirror and $173 for labor. I got the part for $100 (including shipping) at Rock Auto and installed it myself the next day.

I was worried I’d have to spend a ton of money, thank you for the demo. Exactly what I needed to see. Have a good day sir.

Where did you buy the replacement mirror?

Wyla Posey says:

I have a 2013. It looks like the painted part is separate from the rest of the black assembly. I haven’t tried yet, but it looks possible to get a new black assembly and the replace just the top part with the white cap. There is that blinker, so that will have to be dealt with carefully somehow.

George Kopec says:

You have to have them painted to match the color of your vehicle

Ali Azmi says:

I have to replace the passenger side on a 2015. Hope it goes just as smooth as your vid!! Thanks for the info sir!

Jim Pease says:

Take the car to a wrap store and have silver metallic wrap done on both mirrors. Hyundai dealership tech recommended this and I saw it. Looked good.

Thank you for the video!
