Hey Hyundai dealership couldn’t do anything for me because it’s a used engine (it wasn’t Hyundai engine) I have to bring the car back from where I got it

Julie Laflare says:

Also Mitch do you have a email address or phone number?? If you don’t mind

Julie Laflare says:

What if I don’t have any receipts. First oil change was from a family member service and second oil change was from jiffy lube

Mitch says:

Why didn't you have the dealer perform this under warranty?? Why didn't you explain the reason you didn't let them do it for free??? Very confused!!

Julie Laflare says:

Hello I have the same knocking and ticking noise with my Hyundai Elantra 2016. I bought it in August of 2018 … currently I have 54,000 miles, with Hyundai warranty almost reaching 60,000 miles would I be able to get a new engine. Bed cause I can’t fix it myself. I’m a women and don’t know anything about cars, I just don’t want the dealership to Rip me off.

kirt lazare says:

NewBookz says:

What can you do to prevent this piston wear, seems to me this engine should have a longer life than this! (I have a 2013 with 25k, switched to synthetic oil now, perhaps next time, buy a Toyota.
