I need my intake and exhaust VVT solenoid replaced. My mechanic quoted me 365 just for labor. So, 610 for parts and labor! Seeing how uncomplicated and quick it is, that really upsets me! Thank you for sharing your videos. Cause even if people can't or don't trust themselves doing the repair at least we can become informed, which may sway our choice on mechanic.

I have been searching for a while now on how to replace the connector for the solenoid but all I can find are videos like this that only show how to just replace the solenoid. The actual connector to my Hyundai has broke off, do you know how to replace the connector at all?
I've been watching your videos because it comes up when searching for a sonata. However the 2015 sonata is not the same as an elantra. So unfortunately the video doesn't help. I spent well over 3hrs searching for the intake solenoid location on my car. It's not in the same position as the video. I only found one on behind the motor

Love your videos guys! I have a 2015 Hyundai Elantra so all this information helps!! Please do a how to change the transmission fluid on the Hyundai Elantra! Also if in your videos you can explain the purpose of why you're changing those specific parts/fluids and the possible symptoms of what is happening with the car! Sorry I'm a newbie to cars and I don't know the reason why someone replaces their intake or exhaust solenoid, or the problem they would be experiencing with this. Thanks so much!
