How does the mirror snap into the housing? Is there a metal clip or just plastic? I think I may have broken the piece that locks the mirror into place on my 2012 Elantra Touring.

I see a lot of new models have anti glare mirrors now . My 2017 Elantra I can hardly change the lane from all the lights behind me. Are there any mirrors out there that will fit on my Elantra with dimmer or even some tint. Thank you
