Thanks the video – I need to do this shortly.

fupabox says:

there should be a tongue washer between the axle nut and bearing..if not someone has worked on it previously and left it off

James Plummer says:

Thank for the video, I was working on it but there is no tongue washer on it… just wonder if that is normal on my Hyundai Santa Fe 2003 2.7L 2wd?

fupabox says:

you are absolutely correct, I have been making sure to do it on a my videos since this was done…thanks, I appreciate the feedback

Jimmy b says:

the was a good video would have been great if you used a torque wrench. especially when novices are watching they might get the impression that its ok to do this without

fupabox says:

not really..but I have been using that impact gun so long I can feel the torque within 10 lb ft . If I put my torqe wrench on it ,it would have shown 180 ft lbs give or take 10…You are correct that I should have shown using the torque wrench,my mistake ,and I will show that in the future. Thanks for catching that and letting me know.

Phil Gowdy says:

But you didn’t torque the nut?

fupabox says:

lol..yup 🙂

A thing i do to keep my parking brake pads from rusting is go atleast 30 or slower on a empty road and use my parking brake to bring me to a complete stop i do that a couple of times to get any caked up materials all the parking break from not using it.That was causes them to rust i never use my parking breaks because where i live the land is pretty flat and i dont park on hills so i so that to pretty much exercise the parking breaks. Good vid by the way as always 🙂
