In this video I install the Hyundai I30 PD OEM Hood Strut/Bonnet Lifter Kit (G4070ADD00) on my 2019 Hyundai Elantra GT N Line. This kit mounts differently than all of the other kits on the market and does not require cutting the foam material. I would leave out the the top mounts for the hood hinges as they are very difficult to get into place and you risk damage to the hood insulator. This install should only take about 30 minutes and can easily be done by one person.

What k&n filter did you have in there?
I also installed the kit today … damn annoying thing with the screw bracket. Took me about an hour and a half. Incidentally, 4 out of 6 of these clips broke when I dismantled the insulation 😀
