Scotty I Have a 2012 Honda Civic Ex 1.8L 170000 miles Automatic trans, I had a ripped fresh air intake hose I replaced that, and cleaned the MAF sensor, I put everything back together ran great for a couple days and then it stated hesitating at about 50 miles and hour and kind of bucking, it runs great under that and seems to not do it when it is colder, the only code I get is Map sensor reading higher than expected, and an abs code, Today I noticed my engine mounts are absolutely blown, is it possible that the engine was moving so much back and forth that it broke the sensor? And possibly the ABS module?

Dan Gunn says:

My 2018 Ford F150 transmission shifts weird before it warms up. It only has 12 thousand miles on it. 2.7 ecoboost with 10 speed automatic with 4 wheel drive. 19 mpg around home and 23 mpg on interstate highways. It rides like a Cadillac.

Howard Jr. Ford says:

Scotty , did you know that many Toyota engines and vehicles are built in Alabama ?

Devon says:

My Kia stinger is a beast and my 2013 5.0 Genesis got up to 200,000km without a single issue

Jan says:

Let's start a distance engine cover cap throwing competition up Scotty LOL

John Mehaffey says:

Bundle of Korean krapp

Akuma Prod. says:

Yup Hyundai is good.
Korea is going tops with their cars.

Olumide Iluyomade says:

This guy is full of crap! Can't stand him. Very insular guy!

OmT says:

I read online from a couple of people who worked for Hyundai, their best car was the Azera! And it’s been discontinued. Ironic.

Peter Ng says:

One of my coworkers Hyundai was burning oil but the dealership kept saying it was within acceptable oil burning specs. I think it was a quart every 1k miles at the time. It took many months and tons of back and forth before Hyundai agreed to replace the engine under warranty.
I don't own a Hyundai but hearing stories like that and the one in this video makes me distrust Hyundai and their warranty. I don't think I'd buy any of their cars if their warranties were not worth the paper that they're printed on.

phych says:

The worst thing about Hyundai/Kia are the dealerships. The cars are actually pretty alright, but the dealerships are terrible.

Theo Haugen says:

That's why if I get work done on a vehicle I Watch them work on .

Julio Zometa says:

Scotty's neighbors: "He's a good neighbor, gives me a giggle when I see him talking to his mounted android."

Ren Khachatoorian says:

Yes, the manual transmission can go for so many miles with the least cost. And no noise.

Bill Mackay says:

Every time I have work done by my Hyundai dealer, the car comes back with a different wierd noise – the steering now has a ratchetty noise and the engine sounds like there's a siren approaching . Disconcerting to put it politely.

Lostin MIA says:

The dealership excuse for issues after talking to Kia/Hyundai is "It's the characteristics of the vehicle and is normal."

Nicholas Narcowich says:

& if it was a trade now, maybe the next person would always use it in sport mode & never hear the sound…

Andy Y. says:

i just got elantra 2022 and doesn;t give me any problems. old fart. stop dissing hyundai
