Here we go with the EASTER SPECIAL!
Customer was on the way to my shop in his 2016 Hyundai Santa Fe for a P0018 timing diagnosis, but didn’t quite make it to the shop…
Car started running very poorly and blowing massive clouds of blue smoke!! WOW.
I drove to town to check out the car and things look pretty bad.
Turns out this Hyundai is hiding more Easter Eggs than you might expect 🙂

Thar engine looks pretty clean for 125k miles
Do you have a tripod? Do you watch your videos? Making me dizzy! Glare is still a problem.

Always a follower of this You Tube channel. Great diagnostic and repair work performed by Ivan. Thank you PHAD
The well known and respected shop that I buy my tires, has a large sign at the entrance, " Sorry, but we don't repair Hyundai or Kia ".
your opinion on Putin?
It’s it’s Hyundai it’s. Disposable. @ 100k.
Amazing content, ivan….educational beyond my understanding!
I was just listening and not really watching. What I learned: do not buy a Hyundai.
My Honda: 23 years old, 230k km’s. Still going strong.
Spewing fuel on a passing Ford Escape . Kinda like sneezing in someone’s face , that Escape will be in a shop in no time lol
Ivan, jHappy Easter. It would bring closure to see the actual problem and it's resolution. I bet your going to have orders up the Ying Yang for your pressure transducers. Outstanding tool. Looking forward to Part II. Thanks for Sharing!
trump is a putin lover and he loves killing people – why would you support such a bad guy?
I'm not sure I understand continuing the diagnosis when you've more or less proven there's a mechanical issue. I was worried the diagnosis was going to become very easy – diagnostic procedure blew up engine … new diagnosis is to replace bad engine.
@Steve White, I've been telling hm that for years, he won't listen, my guess is he wants paid from YouTube 2x?
Typical intake valve close is about 600*(40-60ABDC) so the intake isn’t too far out. But in any case intake valve timing has no way to cause the fuel flooding condition. The injectors are over feeding that bank. The hydrolock would indicate the injector is stuck open.
Awesome diagnosis
Love the external mouse. I do my laptop work the same way.
I'm sure you advised the owner not to drive the car in it's current state
