DIY-How to Replace Radiator and Thermostat on 2005 Hyundai Elantra

Is your car overheat? It might be the thermostat that is stuck in the closed position even thought they are supposed to fail in the open position … but you have to buy a special thermostat for that to happen.

Or is your radiator leaking…well I had my thermostat get stuck in the closed position and soon after that I found that my radiator housing (plastic now a days) had cracked and was leaking fluid.

This video will show how to replace the radiator and thermostat. This video uses a 2005 Hyundai Elantra GT to demonstrate this procedure. However, the method in general, can be applied to many other cars and models.
