Почему-то не залил масла в фильтр.
I’m trying to figure out which engine is suitable and maintenance is not
too high, there is a 2.4 petrol and a 2.2 diesel for Santa Fe. Sometimes, I
have some flood around knees level. Which engine is a better choice ?
cant say enough good things about this car, just bought my wife the 2014,
quick question… why arent u using synthetic?
-Cheers
Anything different if you have a turbo? Same visoscity and capicity? Also
how do you get your wife to help with doing oil changes? I’d like to learn
that trick also.
I think it would be a good idea to refill the new filter with some oil to
prevent a dry start after the change.
Did you find that when you removed the filter, the oil went inside the
plastic cover over the engine?
color is not indicative of anything. oil changes colors due to heat,
contaminants, etc. its very rarly i will remove oil from my engine and its
not black. totally normal mate.
What type of a ramp did you use? My set U have to drive up on them
carefully but the car is not level.
i used a regular paint market from any office supply store. i forgot where
exactly which brand – but all paint markers are all the same
Did you life the Santa Fe? How did you do that? Thanks.
nope.
Curious how the oil looked right after changing. In my 2013 Santa Fe 2.0
Turbo, the oil looks black right after changing. Wonder if anyone
experiences the same thing. Is this black color normal for these engines,
or was my oil not changed properly?
I drain & refill every 5k, so GTX is just fine. if this was a turbo engine,
doing longer OCI, then you’d have a point for the justified extra $.
Thanks for such a well done video!
LOL a beaver
thanks homie 🙂
Thank you! Great vid. Very well done with all ditale . Few month was
looking for it. Finally – YOU did it.
Hey, I’ve been looking everywhere for the part numbers, do you have the oil
filter & crush washer part numbers and where you get them? Thank you!
Can you tell me the type and the mark of the marker you have use? Thks for
the detail video!
Ty, sir
Thanks imstricken06
imstricken, thank you for providing us an detailed and informative video.
When you do oil changes, does the height of the Santa Fe require you to use
Jacks?
never tried to change the oil without ramps.
watch this video review on the filter and crush washers i did. it has all
the part numbers and info you will need: youtube(dot)com/watch?v=0pAgEnWY3ok
yup. that will happen in all cars. no biggie, just wipe it up as best as
you can. it wont hurt anything. rain will wash it out
Does the oil pan have a recessed oil plug?
Very helpful !! Thanks ! Nice helper by the way! LOL
i use Rhino Ramps. no ramps will be “level” since since the ground isnt
level. you dont need the car perfectly level- just use wheel chocks and
e-brake. i like the car tinted more towards the rear to get more oil out.
You could get at least 8K miles from Mobil 1 if you’re getting 5K from
Castrol GTX. A jug of Mobil 1 5W-30 at Walmart is $22.71, GTX can’t be that
much less.
Just did mine yesterday, not as clean as yours but I installed a Fumoto
valve to help next time.
use a car ramp. thats what he used here.
I would personally use Mobil 1 over conventional Castrol GTX. Mobil 1 5
quart jug isn’t that much more money and is a far superior oil to Castrol
GTX.
Useful video.
