Have the windshield wiper and covers on a hyundai 2023 tucson changed since 2023?

@jamirocat says:

This video needs a close up slow motion so we can see how it goes in.

What an utterly stupid design idea. This is something that was conceived to force people to take their cars to dealerships and spend a lot more money on what should be one of the easiest forms of vehicle maintenance.

@christaehrstein says:

A windshield maintenance mode, aka park mode for your wiper blades, is the most outrageous design. This is one of the reasons I hate my 2023 santa fe. Hyundai has made that vehicle, my third santa fe, so 'smart' that hate it. What is wrong with just being able to lift the wiper blades, why have a mode, that requires cycling the engine, to replace wiper blades. Not to mention that I have now gone two winters without knowing about this and not being able to lift my blades off the windshield in inclement cold weather???? I hate this car.
