Excellent tutorial youre a good teacher but this is too mich work for me haha for cup holders
Who knew 6 years later some Rural Carrier for the Post Office would need to know how to take the middle piece from their 2013 Elantra. Thanks man.
I just really want to thank you for this video! I watched this just to learn how to remove the center console as I spent 3 days scouring the internet and this was the only video I could find! Thank You for your post!
Edit: If you add the tag 2011-2013 Elantra center console removal, you'll probably get a lot more views.
Very very helpful guided me even on a slightly different 2014 model.
Thank You James! My Elantra is set up the same way. 🙂
Thank you so much! I used your tutorial to completely replace my center console because my cup holder was broken (the part where the screws connected to the console was completely detached so the entire console had to be replaced). Did it in a little over an hour and only for $100 (the price of the console- $85, socket wrench set- $10, and plastic panel remover- $10).
I would like to install some to the rear cup holders as well.
Any idea how to remove them?
Looks awesome man but did you use paper painters tape to tape electrical wires?
Thanks u very nice job
How do you know what size to get I have same vehicle as you
Great video but what a pain in the ass for just LED cupholders. Would have been better (albeit more cheesier) with a separate battery and switch.
That link u send u to click on for beat to but the light for the glove box, the eBay guy said it ended, I guess he means he doesn't have them more or sold out. Can u plz send me another link were I can buy them, plz?????
I want to do this with my 2015 Elantra Limited.. but the stick shift doesnt look the same.. i cant seem to find the pin that releases the shifter knob.. any ideas?
I am a great fan of customizing minor details in cars and trucks….thanks!!!
Perfect really
Why would you skin the wires ? Why would you not just use T Clips and do it properly ?
all that hassle for a glowing cup holder..no thanks.
Thanks for the video !
I want to do this so bad but I'm too scared I'll screw something up…
