Many customers who own Hyundai Kona want to change their car halogen headlights to LED bulbs. We invited two customers to our store for installing headlights, turn signals, brake lights and tail light. We filmed a video guide for you guys. One car is 2019 Hyundai Kona, another one is 2020 Hyundai Kona SEL.

As shown in the video, for 2019 2020 Hyundai Kona, the headlight low beam bulb size is H7. The universal H7 LED bulbs on the market do not fit it, because it comes with a retainer holder. LASFIT developed special H7 LED bulbs, custom design, perfectly fit Hyundai Kona. Plug and play, no need to add other H7 bulb adapters. You can replace your stock headlight bulbs according to the video guide.

NOTE: The LED brake lights give out the error code on the dash when it is running. Please don’t purchase the LED brake light bulbs.

You can also purchase from Lasfit authorized dealer on Amazon:

Can you do one for hyndai santa fe

Marie McCourt says:

Will this also work on a 2021 Kona?

Bryson Knockwood says:

I recently took my 2020 Kona in to get new LED bulbs. I forget the exact bulb but my low beams seem to always spread outwards, leaving a dark portion in the direct centre of the car before light reaches about 20 yards before its lit up.. is the bulb or mounting system upside down? I've taken it back 3 times for adjustments but no luck

Zachary Kennedy says:

Will this work for 2021 kona models?

Sukhpaul Sehmbi says:

Do you guys still sell the brake light LEDs? I only see inner brake light LEDs on your website.

OneTake Jake says:

It’s it the same for a Hyundai Santa Fe?

DaveDesign™ says:

Do you have a tutorial for install led to high beam? Because the windshield washer bottle block me and I can't figure how to install the bulb with that big bottle…

AshAdventures says:

Hello, Do you have a timeline of when the LED Turn signals will work with the 2020 Kona SEL Plus? I got these a while back but had to return them since the hyper flash issue. Then today I saw that they are not compatible on the 2020-2021 Kona's. Would love to give the new LED Turn signal bulbs when they come out for 2020-2021 Kona.

Austin Kenyon says:

Soooo I sifted through the comments and I too was having trouble making these bulbs fit into my 2020 low beam housing units. I tried so many ways and none of them fit. @Master Sumai has the answers. Pls look for his post and give him a sub because he solved all my problems.

In order for them to fit you need to connect the plug first then tuck into the house and finally install the bulb and lock into place. This does work and is extremely easy for anyone to do.

Huge shout out to @Mastersumai for the help on this. I did severely burn my finger doing this, rookie mistake, the bulbs are hot! But I was able to keep these bulbs and the make a huge difference when driving.

Ozzie Alarcon says:

I just bought a 2021 Kona SEL and I love my new car. But the one thing I hated from day one was the butt ugly and really low light output of the factory halogen bulbs. I knew they had to go but I didn't have a clue as to what was available for my car. I stumbled upon this video and I did some research. I then ordered these bulbs and I installed them today. I love the light output because it's just the right color temperature I like. It truly has changed the appearance of my "cheaper" model Kona to one that looks like a higher end model just by the output of the headlights. Worth every penny…

Ozzie Alarcon says:

I just received my Pro-HK6 bulbs for my 2021 Kona and the install went super easy. Some people have complained at how the connector no longer fits inside the housing once the LED bulb has been installed. The easy trick is to tuck the wire and the connectors inside the housing before you insert and mount the bulb. Everything goes in quite easily only when you do it this way. You also need to make sure to turn the bulb until the wire is straight down. This will put the LEDs at the 9 and 3 o'clock positions.

coolmanu55 says:

Can you please share the video for H8 led fog lights on hyundai kona ?

coolmanu55 says:

@Lasfit Auto Lighting  unfortunately the dust cover won't fit after the led installation. There's no room for the cable to go underneath the bulb holder. In the video.. They didn't show that either.. They just showed the dust cover on.. Lasfit.. Can you please maje a video on how to put the dust cover on after installation? This is not fair.. U show half video and put it on and show it off.

coolmanu55 says:

Dude do we disconnect the battery before installing the LEDs on the kona?

navguy12 says:

Do you have a kit yet for 2021 Kona EV (Preferred package)? Do you deliver to Canada? Thanks

Austin Kenyon says:

What lights should I buy for the rear (red) lights? The package online doesn’t show all these bulbs you used?

Justin says:

Good damn music every 10 seconds.

Christopher Aikens says:

Still waiting on a conversion kit for the 2020 Hyundai Kona LED high beams!

coolmanu55 says:

Hi there, do you guys ship it to Australia . I have hyundai kona elite 2018 model. Do I need to modify anything or cut the wires to install H7 low beam led by lasfit? Can we put the dust cover back after installing the H7 led by lasfit? How about the fog lights on my car. Please help me out bro. I want to change my disgusting stock lights. Thanks.

MexPinoy says:

430 bucks wow getting at Amazon/eBay from 200 to 300 bucks with high rated brands …no way

Liquiid ghost says:

Does this work for the 2018 kona as well?

ArchaicSEAL says:

Not the best quality.. after installing on my 2018 Kona the headlights vibrate when driving over any kind of even slightly uneven road. I had to glue the black plastic piece with the 3 prongs directly to the led light with rockset, that helped somewhat. But fair warning to anyone buying this for the 2018 Kona, there is a little play once installed and your lights will vibrate somewhat.

coolmanu55 says:

Hi mate, I want to replace my factory fitted lights with white halogen lights., please advice what all I need to buy. Can I buy the lights and give in the hyundai showroom to replace them. do i need to buy extra fittings. Please advice. appreciate it. cheers.

alan.erickson says:

Only low beam is listed on lasfit website. Saw where someone mentioned that they used low for both high and low. Is this correct information?
