Thanks for taking the time to make & upload this video! This will be my
first time changing breaks on a Sonata, just wanted to make sure there were
no surprises before i got started. Thanks!

Thanks for sharing and trying to help others. I just did the front brakes
on my mom’s 2011 Sonota with 30,583 miles. She likes to brake hard at every
red light so I could see the fronts lasting for 40,000 if you take it easy.
Also I only removed the lower 14 mm bolt and swung the brake cylinder up to
access the pads. If you removed the sub assembly with the 17 mm bolts then
it is standard to replace the bolts since they stretch when torqued to
60-80 ft/lbs or apply a little locktight. I also like to use oem parts
since the pad material is designed with the right materials and hardness to
match the rotors for optimal performance.

Thank you for your video. It made my brake job much easier. I would change
one thing. Remove both 14 mm bolts first and get the caliper our of the
way. It improve access to the 17 mm bolts. Getting that one 17 mm loose was
as hard as you said. I saved 300 dollars by doing it myself and I know the
job was done right.

Thank you that was very helpful!
