2007 – 2012 Hyundai SantaFe Radio Install

All parts used are linked in the description below!

Watch a full tutorial as a 2008 Santa Fe (with JBL Amplified System) will have a brand new Pioneer Bluetooth radio installed AVH-2300NEX. This radio install adds Bluetooth functionality, Apple Carplay, Android Auto, and enhanced power output for better sound quality.

This video applies to Santa Fe models for years 2007, 2008, 2009, 2010, 2011, and 2012. This video also includes dash trim and stereo removal, radio wiring, programming, and installation.

If you have Rear Seat Entertainment Flip down screen installed (RSE), The audio signals from the RSE can be found at the main radio plug. There are 3 wires on the plug with the rear speaker wires. The colors are consistent on 2 of these vehicles so far. They are black (shield), brown (right), and white (left). Just splice a pair of RCAs to these and plug to your aux port. The only preliminary thing I’ve found is that you need to have the stock deck turned on and set the volume level up to the RSE BEFORE you remove the stock deck otherwise you will not get any signals at the plug. Also, you will lose the volume control on the rear.

And this is why I rather hire a professional the who wants to have an electrical wire malfunction on your vehicle obviously not me had that problem before on a used vehicle i purchased believe me it was a pain in the ass to find that problem and costly i might add

I have a 2008 with factory Infinity stereo with navigation, no backup camera and no rear entertainment system.
Can you tell me what I need to install a new head unit.

Stuart Locker says:

Great video. Have you heard of hissing problems or weird sounds after install? My dealer who installed it is going to replace the amplifier in one car but I actually had two 2007 Santa Fe's with this installed and both have issues but different issues. One has hiss as soon as you go to volume 1. The other has hissing plus sound isn't good. He even had to replace both front speakers since they had broken and hoping it's all from the amp. Will try one car and hope that is it and if so replace the other.

I have a 2010 hyndai santa fe and all these harnesses don't fit anywhere.

rvborgh says:

i can't believe that Scosche forgot to put pin 11 and 12 of the M45A connector into their harness šŸ™ idiotic. Why did they do that? Even the Metra 70-7302 is missing them as well.

Ben Wallace says:

If anyoneā€™s still watching do you need the adapters because I think thatā€™s the problem Iā€™m having as the installation was easy but no sound is emitted because one of the main wires donā€™t pair up
