This video shows you how install a new double din stereo in a 2003 Hyundai Sonata LX (2.7L V6). This new double din stereo install should be the same for all Hyundai Sonata models between 2002-05 as well many other existing vehicles.

Wish u would have filmed taking the old unit out. I have the same car and was hoping to see it done so I could know how an what to expect. U did a good video either way . Thank you!
This is great. What model and size is the stereo? Can you provide a link?
I hooked mine up but no sound any advice? Its a duel 7 inch screen in my 2005 hyaundai sonata
what size touch screen display can fit? is the max a 7 inch
No soldering. just good old electrical tape.
What diagram did you use to connect wires correctly?
hey what model/brand stereo is that, might try to get one for my 02 sonata lx
What kind of radio is this ?
I see from the video that you used amplified outputs rather than preamp outputs. But your original H290 stereo was externally amplified. So you wired amplified outputs into an amplifier? Not saying that would fail or do harm, but I imagine the voltage levels would be off. What did you do to control external amplifier power (pin 12)?
I believe the black hose looking tube that connects to the lower right of the AC panel is for the ambient temperature sensor being your model Sonata has automatic climate control. Senses the inside air temp of your vehicle so it knows when to raise or lower the fan speed and temp balancer to keep set temperature automatically.
6.2”” in dash o 7”
Hey what happened to that old Ford f-250 you had
This actually helps me a good bit, thanks.
I want to do this , I am just scared to mess up the wiring and burn my car lol
You should do a video on finding vacuum leaks! That would be awesome! Keep the great content coming.
