Great video. Thanks for posting.

kramcard says:

great info, Did you have the XM option before you installed the simple
gateway ISGM575 ?

Luis Cardenas says:

No, XM only show up because the modules fools the console to thinking it
has an XM unit to solve the auxiliary input.

Awsome just what I want to do and stop paying for dual subscripision to xm
just stream it throw my phone

Mark Bullis says:

So are you able to listen to XM after it’s installed?

Luis Cardenas says:

Good suggestion, but you know, I still have the cables in the glove box. I
still want to run them to the center console. Seems like all other project
keep taking priority over these cables.

codathon11 says:

i think i would have ran my wire into those to small expatiation bays slots
on the front cover. on my H3 i have only one hole left because of the
button for the lights on my roof

Ben Chow says:

Hey, how do you use the USB port in that module? could you plug an
ipod/iphone charging cable into that & play music?

dobb673 says:

The tip about quickly selecting the input with the bottom knob saved my
day! There’s no mention of that in the instructions. I thought my unit was
defective. Thank you!!!

guztavo92 says:

good stuff man, thank you!

Luis Cardenas says:

the usb is only used for code upgrades. use the ipod connector to charge
and play your music.

Luis Cardenas says:

No, the XM display was visible after I completed the install. Before that,
all i had was the AM,FM, and CD options.

Mark Bullis says:

And what does the XM options button do?
