When I made this video I was thinking this would “FIX” the problem…. but now a year later it seems it is going out again. It seems that this is only a temporary fix. It Should Be A RECALL !!!!!

thank you for the video, , I discovered a quick cheap fix, bought new resistor at advanced auto for $25.99 , also used one male terminal, I just cut away the burnt channel and cut off the burnt terminal, then put the new terminal end on the 1 bad wire. The area i cut off the rest of the connector freed up enough room to all fit together nicely ! No need to buy new harness, or relay , I’m up and running for about $27 including tax. again thanks for the video. Running like new ! Thanks for the help

Keith Hayes says:

I have already replaced my resistor twice, and this time I have to replace the harness. I have submitted my findings to the NHTSA because this should be a recall from GM. Your plug and harness are burned up the same as mostly everyone who experiences this failure. Why should WE as consumers have to wait until there is a fire before someone steps in?
