This video shows how to access and remove the blower control module
and how to repair/replace the power MOSFET. This can be more cost effective than replacing the unit with an after-market module or buying a used one.
The most common faults are caused by condensation attacking the PCB and the Power MOSFET going short-circuit permanently energizing the fan motor even with the key out of the ignition.
I've replaced the blower resistor and my fan was blowing normally but the next day it wasn't blowing hard do you have any idea what it could be?
thank you please keep those H2 videos coming !
Just pulled my mosfet off the board & ordered $2.75 IRFBA1405P hoping it will control my blower (running continuously) Thanks for the guidance. Thumbs Up !
