I had this phone since June 2013. I got a case with it, but it had no grip
to it and slid outta my hand more often than without a case. Still, I’ve
managed to drop my phone thousands of times on concrete, in water, etc. The
screen is just as fresh as it was the day I got it. The edges are pretty
dinged up, but I don’t care cuz it just shows how resilient it is. I may
even bypass the M8 and keep this till the M9 comes out.
Yes, something to keep in mind: If you accidentally stab your phone with a
knife there MAY be a scratch. #WTF

I have the HTC double dip case on my phone. I just put the case on
yesterday and it messes up my screen protector so I took the protector off.
I’ve had my phone for almost a year and no scratches. Now that the screen
protector is off should I be worried? I’ve never dropped a phone and its
kept in its own pocket.

you didn’t apply enough pressure while using knife and use a hammer instead
of using mallet then we see. overall phone is quite durable.

I accidentally put this phone in my pocket where I had my keys and after
like 4min later I realized that I put it in the wrong pocket and I took it
out, it had some scratches on the screen I was so pissed off
