Thanks this video help me out so much!!

1A Auto Parts says:

Once you remove the window regulator you may be able to tip it up and pull
it out of the top of the door opening. You may or may not need to remove
any weatherstrip or seals that may be around the window for extra room.
Hope this helps you out. 1aauto.com 888-844-3393

Tks. Is excellent video

1A Auto Parts says:

Replacing the whole unit will probably be best at this point. There is a
reason why the cables are tangled and normally its from wear with the
plastic spools for the cable.

About to tackle this procedure tomorrow for both of the rear windows in my
Silverado Crew Cab. Great tips. Wish me luck.

very helpful, thanks

John D says:

Is this the same for the 2002 YUKON?

johnny mckee says:

how do you take the window down if its stuck all the way up?

1A Auto Parts says:

If the regulator has a cable and it’s stuck in place you may need to loosen
the cable so that the window drops down so that you can access the bolts.

Joel Mitchell says:

Question – the cable sounds as if it is tangled when I hit up and down.
I’ve removed everything as vid shows. Is there an easy way to release the
motor so I can manually wind cable or do i simply need to replace the while
unit? Cable shows no sign of wear and looks in good shape still. Just
curious before I get the part. Thanks and great videos by the way.

1A Auto Parts says:

It may be a similar process.
