Oh… forgotten to add this. One thing you really don't want is to save pennies on is to buy a third party O2 sensor. I can't over emphasis the importance of AC Delco to replace any GM car, though it may cost twice or more of the 3rd party items (I really know it, via the very hard way!!!).
The other important point, if you are to go for Oxygen sensor replacement, please make sure you car is set aside for few hours before checking as the exhaust system runs very hot and keeps the heat for a while. A burn is least to expect if you not follow this 🙂
Lastly, make sure to apply anticize that usually comes with the new O2 sensor (Only to the screw treads of sensor, with out going over the sensor itself), or you may have more sweat next time to unscrew one.

Combination of one of these 4 or more error codes for non-functioning O2 sensors (Bank 1 or 2 , sensor 1 or 2, then greedy totally useless California Smog test laws that is a bad joke, at best (As VW and German naughty engineers proved it!), then need to reapply for registration tag every two years, along with a fresh smog test is a bad CA nightmare!!! every other year for me. That is only second to daily excess blue sky tax!!! I think I am moving back East, one of these days 🙂
