What kind of offroading was that? A honda civic could do that. I thiught we
would see some real offroad not driving in a dirt trail
Lame ass review, way too based
How you gonna talk About offroad when you only drive on soft Dirt trails
wich Isnt real offroad
BEAUTIFUL
I can honestly say this video stinks. If you are going to describe the
video than type it. I would rather see what it can do than listen to a mono
tone person discuss its qualities while going over terrain that my old
Fiero could do.
4×4 tv didn’t do much research on the H2…it comes factory with 35 inch
tires NOT 33’s….and it NOT built on a Tahoe frame. ..I get so tired of
hearing that…It’s an 8 lug 3/4 ton vehicle. .Tahoe all half ton…
Who ever did this review hates anything that says hummer ….
Actually since someone pointed the whole Tahoe thing out already and you
…thought they were talking about the H1??? Here’s an entry straight from
the GM website. “The H2’s final frame assembly is made up of 3 sections:
The front uses a modified GM 2500-Series utility frame, the midsection is
all new and is completely boxed, and the rear section uses a modified GM
1500-Series frame which is upgraded for the 8,600 pounds (3,900 kg) gross
vehicle weight.” I can’t remember the actual number but it ended up being
something like 93% completely rebuilt. Anyway i couldn’t give a shit about
the Hummer, but i think it’s awesome that someone who cares about car
reviews enough to make a youtube channel, but won’t look for facts past the
local hippies at starbucks, makes me smile. Last question, why post a
review of something over 2 years after they stopped making it?? That’s like
me doing a review of Coke in your terms ;)
this is a awful review….this is a tough ass SUV and nothing like a Tahoe
thats like saying a Hennessey Venom is just a Lotus or a Bugatti is just a
Volkswagen
Haha a truly entertaining 5 min. It’s not often i get to see such a biased
review. Just icing on the cake when he has so many facts wrong. Maybe next
time review a prius or something, because clearly you have no idea about
anything off road.
As far as the Hummer H2 being a Tahoe or a Suburban with Hummer clothes on,
you’re everything but correct. It was built on HEAVILY modified GM 2500
chassis which means that it is tougher than a full sized half ton GMC 1500
Sierra. Do your research, and do some real off roading before you judge
what is considered as the best ALL AROUND off road vehicle the H2
This truck is bad A&*(. Sound like haters here. Yes it was overpriced.
Perceived value sure sank the price as I purchased mine for 15000 USD used.
The best and most dependable vehicle I have ever owned. Never worrying if I
bump into anything or that it might not start. I think I changed the
battery once and the oil regularly.
We were afraid to break it 😉
At 15K It’s a great vehicle….
By the way, the H2 was built be AM General not GM
the hate is great with this one, being too tall for most trucks even an h2
is super comfortable for me i love it
@05front You’re right on both counts – although the tire is actually a
34.5″ – but then who’s measuring 😉 Thanks
He is! He dislikes big, huge 4-wheelers – especially those more designed to
compensate than actually be great off-roaders….
@4x4TVTV ok
@maxthehulk Of course I was joking 😉
My biggest problem was that you received very little storage for the size!
@92gsxr7501029 Yeah, right, sure.
I believe the tire size is a 37.5″. I’ll measure tomorrow.
For 12k, ya I love my Hummer!!! The 6.0 Vortex is just a beast. Only
complaint is the sarcastic “Must be a hog on gas?” comments, but no worst
then any other v8. 🙂
@poky1983 Unless there is a narrow spot to go through 😉 You are indeed
right tough, the H1 was a real off-road machine, the H2 and H3 are noting
more than GM products with some better parts! Not that that’s a bad thing
😉
I just thought is was more for posturing than for real off-loading –
expensive, big, hard to see out of, and less cargo space than a Civic 😉
An H2 has a proprietary frame, it shares only 1/3rd of its frame from a
suburban/tahoe. It also comes standard with 35″ tires, not 33″ tires.
Umm Doug I think a 315/70/R17 is a 35″ tire and also a Center locking diff.
hummer h2 is the best off roader suv ever made
@maxthehulk Yeah. It’s way better than a silly old Jeep, or a Land Rover,
or a Land Cruiser, or a Chevy Tahoe. A Chevy Tahoe? Hmmmmm
Just because YOU are too short to see over the steering wheel doesn’t mean
that its a nuisance to drive. It merely means that it’s not for everybody.
It’s only for true rock climbers, and 4X4 junkies. Sure the M998 High
Mobility Multi Purpose Wheel Vehicle blows it out of the water in deep
water, but the H2 is 4 1/2 tons of rock climbing steel. I didn’t see you
climb one boulder in your short video of dirt roading.
bhgh
it will never beat the original h1
Okay, how about we meet in the middle…It’s the best all around off road
vehicle for posers 😉
@4x4TVTV yes you are right
I love my Hummer H1 also my H2 this guy is just mad at something lol also
there is more upgrades than just 33′ tires & the locker. ball joints and
break pads all that shit is all heavy duty unlike a regular escalade or
suburban he said…
Ummmm wut about the off road test. Pretty poor review for 4×4 tv seems like
he is jaded
I got mine for 22k. Love it on n off road. Better than a tahoe or escalade.
