Would these be JIS screws and not Phillips? Super easy to cam out a JIS screw if you use a standard phillips.
Are those philips or jas?
Heat it up good then use a impact driver. Works great.
A drill bit takes care of these in 2 seconds and done no extra tools
They are a jis screw head not a Phillips on Honda's and most Japanese cars. Impacting screwdriver usually does move them if you don't want to buy the jis screwdriver or bit

Idk I like the set screws lol, makes everything easier going back together. Never have an issue using the impact screwdriver
These screws are absolutely unnecessary. You don’t need to put them on. They’re only for line assembly at the factory

Took em out and never put em back.ill take my chances for the sanity of an easy job every year or so.
Also use the proper philips bit. Theres more than one
I used the impacting screwdriver. It broke probably 4 screwdriver bits. I drilled them craps out and called it a day.
Impacting screw drivers, Ngl never heard it called that, we just call em impact drivers.
You can hammer around it and it gets the same result loosens those screws like crazy
In the north rust belt we drill them out and grind them off. Don't need them.
god i hate phillips screws
Just heat it up and it will come off easily
You can achieve the same thing using a normal screw drover and a hammer.
That is the only tool you should ever use on those screws. This is exactly how I do it. Minus the anti seize unless there’s already some rust
JIS will help
