On the Nissan v-8, the only problem I have heard is that the trucks and Armadas go through catalytic convertors. I think they actually physically break apart internally.

Naww… Toyota owns everything. Major suppliers and is now building trucks in Mexico. But bad build quality. Plus, they're getting into the AI business, robotics and biotech. There is a chance that in the future, Toyota may dial back their market share in the automobile business.

Scotty what do you think about the new powertrain in the 2023 Toyota Highlander gas engine with the 2.4 l turbo? Those types of non-hybrid power trains are pretty much what Toyota and Lexus have moved to in order to meet the new government emissions regulations. Do you think the Toyota 2.4 turbo will be reliable for the long haul?
Japan needs to force Honda and Toyota to design and build cars that will last 30 years (that includes no corrosion for 30 years).

In N.S.W Australia we have very strict laws of having dogs in cars the law is that your fog has to be properly restrained and you can be booked for not having your dog restrained
That’s probably why Honda has changed the pay scales (lowered)for the US employees to make up the difference. My wife’s pay won’t be cut but she won’t get another raise unless she becomes a regional sr manager. After 30 yrs they gonna retire her early soon anyway so she doesn’t care except for no more free cars.
Down in nanny state Australia, dogs already have to wear a harness, tethered to a seatbelt latch. (Back seat if the vehicle has one) These are supposed to be positioned so the dog can move around in the seat, but not get their head out of the window.
