12 psi on stock rods wont last long
would you recommend just using a oil sandwich adapter plate?
9:17 shows specs… definitely not just turbo+stock
does the oil return line have to come out above the top of the oil in the
pan?
How much would it cost to get that set up done ?
Where does the wastegate line go my turbo doesnt have a nipple on it for a
line could i tee it off the bov line and go to the back of the intake
manifold
is your car still running strong
Awesome man
Great videos!! Wish you had a better camera tho /:
Does that down pipe extension flange come with the go autoworks turbo kits?
I didn’t see it on their site to buy separately. Btw awesome build bro.
Only runs 15’s? A stock RSX-S is faster. I have a turbo RSX-S myself
justin sane uploads some of the best turbo videos on youtube.
tops probably $3500. Search “Go-autoworks” in google and you will find the
site he used.
i need your input. i really want to build SOHC egine. its a d16y7. I will
be putting a y8 aftermarket intake manifold on it and i want to build this
from the oil pan up really im not look for to much over like 300hp. it
would just be driffernt to have a built SOHC engine where i live. now do i
need to invest in some good low compression pistons and rods “eagle” and
probly a good mid cam nothing to big? and just replace all the seals and
the main bolts with arp? you think it would work out?
if its a gsr the engine is high commpresion so your gonna need new pistons
(low commpresion) and maybe the connecting rods after that you can run a
turbo
Shouldn’t a LS Vtec have arp headstuds
Great videos! I have watched all three from start to finish. I have a 89 hf
with a b16a1 with an arm full of issues from the previous owner. I’d like
to everything right. Also have wiring harness issues, I believe its burnt
through somewhere from a over amped redtop battery. Would you scrap the car
or strip and build from scratch? Thanks for your time
it actually hugs the pan very well, probably the best ive seen on a turbo
kit in a while, we was very impressed. perhaps the video is deceiving the
eye a little.
so i dont have a dyno within about 4 hours of me and im looking to turbo my
1990 integra with a b18 keeping stock internals running 8psi abs max
looking to get around 200-230horse what do you reccomend for street tuning
on it like a hondata basemap or what? im looking into putting 450cc
injectors in and not really sure where to look for a basemap
Stock axles? Or install stage 2
hi , nice jop man really i have crx and b18 what you recommend for clutch
and flywheel
ahh ok thanx!
Are Preludes good to turbo with a stock engine, and later build it up?
Which turbo and kit are these?
hey man quick question what oil do you recommend for these builds
the high hp from low boost is due to the turbo size. for example a 72mm
turbo at 10 psi on a given motor will make much more power then a 62mm
turbo on the same set up. its about cfm not psi
what did it do on the track?
Very good video boss. I wish you lived somewhere close to me, Im in the
process of building my eg but $ and time are tight.
stock headgasket. how long will that hold? lol
Running a gm 3 bar gotta love it
on how much psi? stock block as well
nope
Cheers for the vid, really enjoy them.
why do you want different studs?? (d16y8 engine here) thinking about
turboing mine as well.
how much was the whole kit ? what was the brand and where can i get it ?
nice
u stupid fuck.lol
No messing around here mate great video 😀 i just subscribed
Pretty cool video. Great job there. Thanks
Nice video, looking to do same set up on my CRX Si.
