Presto Chango says:

Drakei Last says:

Where can you buy these pistons? With good tuning i cant see anything wrong
with this setup.
Goodjob !

panterask8r14 says:

How much in labor cost would this be? I would love to take my engine apart
like that but I don’t trust myself, I know I’ll have some random bolts when
I’m done.

The Bolt says:

500 horses in a Civic, would you like a civic to go with that horsepower
lol, haha

Troy Marchbanks says:

Great build!

civicpride1986 says:

Thank you very much, i just build my bottom end using this method.. I also
use those same pistons and scat rods and acl race bearing to build mine,
will be taking it to the dyno and plan on pushing about 18psi.. my motor is
an LS so i am only aiming for 350whp..

Nikolaj Nielsen says:

but why not just pull tour the engine:) youve removed everything else:)

mar ller says:

so this is a b18c engine? I suppose it would be the same procedure for a
d16z6 for example?

skeletor2by4 says:

Jesus…why wouldnt you just pull the engine? This would be easier on a
stand

Ron Sinson says:

Do you have to hone the cylinder walls or can I just drop new pistons in?

mixkain says:

great vid, thanks

Juan Vargas says:

some tips for everyone watching this, always use a straight edge with a
feeler gauge on top of the block to check for war-page. reason being if
your block is warped your head wont seal properly and could lead to future
issues such as oil and combustion leaks. if you do find war-page on your
block send it to a machine shop to be re-decked and make sure to always
send your head to the machine shop to be resurfaced and always use a new
head gasket and head studs. make sure you always use the berry bush to re
cross hatch the cylinders regardless what this video says. it will promote
oil flow into the piston oil rings. other wise pretty spot on justin. i
love your vids man

Slaveofthepavement says:

A turbo? Who needs that when you’ve got VTEC YO!!!!

Mordecai Showe says:

Cant wait to do this to my Civic.

Adam Mason says:

The title should read:

“How to Obtain a 1:1 Car-Value Depreciation Ratio (Floor-Limited)….”

Meaning:

For ever thousand $$ you put into that car, you’ll decrease the value by
the same amount….until it decreases to a certain value (i.e. floor).
Then you might see some return…

But, I have to say, this was one interesting – and very informative video!!
I enjoyed it, dude!!

jorge jose DaCosta says:

You did a great job. Who cares if you mumbled words when you were tired.
Your motor ran great after with no problems. I think if even was 400
Horsepower I would be happy. You didnt have to modify the tranny or the
front wheel drive because it can take this horse. I think anything over 450
Horsepower your going to blow up things. I also like how you pointed out
the new fuel pump, yes you need to feed that motor fuel. Id go with either
the 45 or 50 psi injectors and you shoul be great. Thanks for showing this
and breaking it down so people could understand like changing the pistons
and rods down to the honing of the motor. Alot of people would have put
this on a stock motor and blew it up.great job with the intercooler. Alot
of kids want to hide this. But the word says it all Intercooler for
cooling. Good luck in the future.

Etrician55 says:

your not using synthetic?

JonesDoesntDie says:

How do you know all this? I mean what do you do for a job that you can just
get the engine in pieces and back together? I need to learn that too man

Juan Aguayo says:

What size turbo?

Alejandro Mata says:

My cousin wants to know if this would work on his acura rsx base model or
should he just go with just turbo his stock motor all he wants is a fast
daily driver to have fun in not a track car also he is new to this turbo
world so any tips on picking out a turbo or what kinda of material he
should anything really would help we have seen your turbo video where you
explain how to choose the right turbo for you

tannersword1 says:

This video should be renamed and made into a series… “How to throw a rod
in your Honda over the weekend” and then the following video will be “How
to rebuild your motor after turbocharging it” the next weekend…

chris mercey says:

Mad haters half the people on here probably don’t even have a car hahaha
fucking bums

Burnt Toast says:

Can someone tell me if a different fuel pump would be needed as well? I’m
not looking to put out as much hp but I assume a new pump would be needed.
