Thank you SO much for posting this!

So clear. So watchable! GBH = best how-tos on the net.

It was also very useful, seeing what YOUR preferred combination of OEM and aftermarket is. If you trust it, I trust it.

I know that a CRV is not an EF, but it's still Civic-based, so it's still useful to see.

Victor Manuel says:

Good video.thank you

Erick Cid says:

Hey I know this video is old bro but you should make a video how to change that leaking steering rack. Would definitely appreciate it that much love man

Richard Wallinger says:

super professional video .. I changed   a friends cambelt and water pump. The waterpump was missing the impeller blades  and the water was red rusty . The motor had been overheating  and it was the insanely corroded water pump impeller which was the problem .  The engine mount was like your totally rooted. A good advert for inhibitor based anti freeze coolant .

Petey Pablo says:

((NEW SUBSCRIBER ))the best video I seen on how to do timing belt and very clear instruction! THANK YOU GBH ! CRV FOR LIFE!

PES gaming says:

Hey, your car is so similar to mine..
I am planning to change timing belt..but i am curious whether the driving belt (a. k. a the accessories belt such as the water pump belt, alternator, and power steering). Should i buy it from honda or are those like a generic product like it will fit in any car.
And one more thing, could you do EGR and PCV valve video replacement because when i watch that on youtube i got confused because the car is different. Thanks BTW

PNDASnipin says:

Stuck on the crankshaft seal you make it sound so easy but I’ve been through two seals trying to hammer them in with a 32 and 1 1/4 deep sockets . Can’t how did you get the seal in so easy

Rodih Sukari says:

Bengkelnya dimana? Pengen kesonoh

Alex Riquelme says:

I need help setting my timing do u have a video for that?

William Jackson says:

Thanks for the Video it was very helpful! Just one question, when you started it at the end you can hear a whine. My CRV makes the same whine and I thought was the water pump bearing or tensioner wheel which i planned to replace. Do you know what this whine is as you have just replaced both and it is still there?

Mauricio Iraheta says:

very good video I am in the process of ordering my parts and you mentioned that you would put the torque information you can give me that information Thank you very much

Darrick P says:

this utilitarian car is legendary. they should relaunch it. tks for the vid. crystal clear instructions.

Jesse Martz says:

I am doing the same job very very well explained nice thanx soooooo much

Ryan Mary Reyes says:

I don't even own a crv let alone a honda with this engine and I ended up watching this whole video. Lol. Good job man!

Dave says:

Valve adjustments every 30k; big recall on these b20's w/burn't valves.

PNDASnipin says:

Be careful on the tensioner pulley bolt it’s a six point most are 12 point and will strip bolt

Alexis Tudor says:

What is the reason to drop the engine other than getting the AC belt off. I am just trying to fix a bad timing belt job and just needed to adjust a new timing belt by a tooth or two. Would it still be necessary to drop the engine to do this?

Alexis Tudor says:

When you use the impact wrench on the camshaft bolt how does it not just rotate the engine backwards? Also when you have to cinch the camshaft bolt on to 136 foot/lbs wont the engine just rotate without the harmonic balancer socket thing? I am guessing you can keep those screwdrivers in those guid holes up top and that will stop it from moving but afraid to do damage up there.

TheKajunkat says:

Does the outer belt guide go on between the lower gear and the drive belt pulley? I think that is what you said in the video but the part where you installed it was the corrupted part. The reason I was asking is that after the timing belt was changed by previous owner on my crv i purchased it. shortly after the drive belts began to squeal. I suspect pulley misalignment because squeal got worse after I changed all the drive belts and tensioned to factory specs. I think he may have forgot to put that belt guide on. About how thick do you think it was 1/8" or so? I am going to measure pulley offset this weekend and see if the drive pulley is too far in.

daniel g says:

Where did you buy all the seals from? OEM from honda or parts store?
