This engine does have an ignition timing adjustment. There is a timing connector under the passenger side of the dashboard that needs to be jumped before the timing is adjusted.

Thanks for the video. My 98 Accord, I changed the distributor,after I installed it, it won’t run,do you think I had turned the rotor the opposite way and installed it ? Because I didn’t pay attention to which way the rotor was pointing. If this is the case, I can turn back to the other way and reinstalled it,it should run,right ? Desperate now,Thanks

You mentioned the computer does the ignition timing on this car….is that common on all hondas because of the ecu and icm fine tuning it. Some say no matter what you need to put a timing light to it.

I did the same thing but didn't pay attention to the way the rotory tip was pointed and now my car won't start..so I took out the distributor and turned the distributor tip 180 still won't start..nkw do I leave the distributor in where it is now and redo the timing
