Wow. Great video. I have been doing my own brakes since 1966. Disc brakes are so much easier than drums. But I have been afraid to try replacing my rear pads on my 2018 Accord because of the E-brake. Several videos warn about generating error codes for the computer. But you seem to have successfully avoided that.
So leave the E parking brake disengaged while compressing the piston and engage it to set it back with the pads on ? …. btw what size spacers do are you running ?
You got those pads at a good time. Its out of stock in alot of places, on line as well…. I called My dealer today and they have none, and they told me only one other dealer in my area has them in house. The pads are on back order until further notice , that's what the dealer told me .front pads are easier to find , not the backs.
This is a great video ,very informative, up to the point. before this video ,I watch couple of the videos that made it seem like I was gonna take apart an engine .I did my front brakes yesterday took me 15 minutes on each side ,and then I watch the videos on the rear brakes ,and I was like oh man !!!!!! but, after watching this video it’s calmed on my nerves.
Great video, I am actually right behind you, I am at 20k miles so I am gonna probably need to replace mine soon. Have you done the front pads already or the rears go first on these cars ?
hey man do u know the part number for the front brake pads
Great video Dan
Nice work. Where in ny are you? How have those wheel spacers held up? Worth it or nah
Where did you end up getting the brakes?
Question how much does Honda charge to replace breaks? I’m in need of new breaks for my 2018 accord
Awesome video! You're going to help a ton of people with this one.
Great video! how many miles did u have when you first heard the brake squeek?
Great video as usual!
I see it’s almost time for some stickier tires man, which ones to you plan on going with? Solid instructions btw.
