What if only the actual mirror needs to be replaced? The  casing is fine and  the mirror can still be moved electronically.

Thanks for the video, the repair went great. Note that I was worried that I couldn't reattach the cables to the lock mechanism correctly. There's enough slack that I kept it on and made sure the door panel didn't move (might have duct taped to be sure) and you don't have to take it off.

Whatever you do..Don't mess up re attaching the CABLES to the lock mechanism and door handle or your Door will not open. Which really sucks..Maybe you guys can make a supplemental video on getting the door open again.
