clutch slave cylinder, and master cylinder…

stopaskingformyfullnamegoogle says:

@EricTheCarGuy before you did all of this did you have to drain the fluid
first?

stopaskingformyfullnamegoogle says:

@EricTheCarGuy did you say brake cleaner to clean the resevoir?

stopaskingformyfullnamegoogle says:

what did you put on the end of the slave cylinder to keep it from squeeking?

Oben Cefiro says:

Johnny Bravo says:

I’m having trouble, anybody wanna clarify exactly how to adjust the cmc? Do
you turn it clockwise or counterclockwise etc. Everything I’ve read on it
has been difficult to understand and I know my adjustment is off because my
rpms will rev but the car will not accelerate accordingly. Thanks all (&
Eric) for the help 😀

Tyler Ford says:

mechanics and replaced both my master and slave cylinders. It was beyond
easy after following your video thank you. ps i did everything by myself
and my dad was amazed

John Garris says:

Personally I am 100% satisfied with your information, but You could do wit
a bit of editing here and there. Not much. You’re interesting and not
annoying. Thank you and sorry for the nagging. Good stuff!

Clarence Garland says:

Hi Eric, I have a 2002 Civic. I replaced the clutch slave and master
cylinders. No pedal pressure. Took to a local shop and they have replaced
the same parts again. Still no pedal. Clutch is new. Any suggestions?

Guillermo Alvarez says:

HI Eric i wonder if my patfinder its as simple as you do this honda clutch
cilinder may patfinder pedal stays down si belived that i got a leak in the
sistem can you tell me some on this? i would appreciated thanks for helping
people with this it is great

Tony Carollo says:

Thanks Eric!

Jesse Mckeon says:

Google DIY $20 brake bleeder and just get a cap for your clutch reservoir
tank instead of the brake fluid reservoir. Or both 😀

Davidhollybrowne says:

Excellent Video! Bleeding is faster if you Put the brake fluid in before
tightening the line to the salve letting the fluid run through the line,
then tighten the line as it runs through. Before attaching the slave to the
engine leave the bleeder valve open, push it into the clutch wile holding
it in tighten the bleeder. Bleeding complete.

rush204907 says:

Nice vid i have an 03 rsx type s…. i have bled the clutch slave cylinder
twice due to a soft clutch pedal. It fixed it for a short while but it has
returned to soft and low engagment point, i have no visible leaks can you
help me out or anyone have any other ideas on what to do next?

actionsports111 says:

Could someone please help me? I replaced the slave cylinder in my Toyota,
but the hydraulic line will not screw back into the new slave cylinder. I
thought maybe it was the wrong cylinder, but I couldn’t get the line to
screw back into the old cylinder either. Neither the threads on the line or
the threads in the new cylinder seem to be cross-threaded or damaged…
anyone have any helpful ideas? Thanks so much.

george marquina says:

can you show how to adjust the cluch pedal rod and the nut because in the
video cant see anything, but verry helpful with the rest of the video.

daveytn says:

Sorry, i didn’t meant it to come across like that. I meant it in the sense
new cars don’t have rusty and seized bolts, rust, and general aging of
parts that need replacing. I personally enjoy the challenge but i do admire
those who have the patients to deal with the advanced electronic side of
things.
