motion911 says:

my 04 civic lx coupe ? i need to remove grill and bumper to add my hid kit
in ?

aleks3v3 says:

Great vid , and no 96 to 98 and 99_00 are completely different headlights
and front end overall, just looks a bit similar

Tyler Burton says:

A lot of the time the fogginess from on the headlights are from the sun
beating down on it so its on the outside. You can get some remover but make
sure you watch a video on how to do it because you can damage your
headlights even worse if you don’t do it correctly. I have this same
problem and I cleaned mine up good. And I just bought a new set of
headlights for $200. Good luck man,

Darren Pauli says:

It’s a sealed unit

Darren Pauli says:

Sounds like a cooler Walt Jnr.

kygamefreak says:

@HondaHowTo1 you did it on an 04? i have an 04 coupe, the EX. i hit a
raccoon, and my bumper got ALL jacked up. i don’t want to take it to a body
shop, because that would be LOADS of money. it’s black so a bumper should
be easy to find, right? do i put it on the same way as this one?! if so..
that’s super easy. Your help would be GREATLY appritiated..

Fixbook says:

Yes. It is possible to get them back pretty close to new. You would use a
90 degree grinder with a buffing attachment, and buff them with some
plastic x. They also sell buffing kits (for the grinder/cutter) at Napa.
You would need an air compressor though, in order to run the
grinder/cutting tool.

Fixbook says:

Yeah I think there is some screws that holds the grill to the bumper but
I’m not sure how many it is.

abdielangit7 says:

good job,must go on creativity

melissa ringstad says:

is this the same way for a honda civic 03? any problems that might happen
for someone that doesn’t know much about cars?

IL85GTO says:

Thank you Sir!

sirbuttfister says:

@HaphazardousSoda dont do any of that…use toothpaste to clean the light,
ive done it on my 2000 civic…works extremely well. just look it up

h2damizzy says:

how do you remove the headlight cover? I have a 2002 nissan sentra and the
design is pretty similar to your honda civic. It’s just that the inside of
the headlight cover is dirty and I’m trying to find a way to clean it. Any
help would be appreciated. Thanks!

SMROBE2010 says:

thank you!!

Fixbook says:

No problem, thanks for your comment.

samueljslee says:

Fixbook says:

Bruce W says:

Do you know if it is possible to make the original lens cover to shine
again? Mine is cloudy

Adam Thompsen says:

Isn’t there three screws the hold the bottom side of the grill to the
actual bumper? I ask cuz u just took my buddys out a couple days ago. Also
sorry if you mentioned that as I was watching your vid in a loud place and
the audio is kinda low.

buzzinginmyear says:

what about the two bolts on bottom of bumper?

Fixbook says:

I’ll note it, and try and get it done soon.

M3NO451 says:

Know where the cheapest/best place to buy headlight assembly?

FlyVTube says:

great video..i have civic honda car..so good information for me..

setmefree1993 says:

the mount for my 95 honda civic is broken. i went to the junk yard and they
told me i could have the back piece for free if i could get it off. how can
i take it off? i’ve looked everywhere, but i’m not sure what the piece is
called. it’s just the part that the headlight goes onto that screws onto
the actual car. one of the hold down bars broke and i want to replace it
without having to replace the entire assembly. help? 🙂 thanks

Fixbook says:

@disturbed19th you can pull the wire off but there is a little clip like
thing you push down and over to release the bulb fromt the headlight.

Spanky00Cheeks says:

I need help seeing what the clip looks like so I can blindly remove it on
my Yaris… different car but the clips should be standard. You showed how
to twist the one off, you stopped before clipping the other one off! !!

rotted body landslide says:

your video was very helpful, thankyou. i was just trying to change out a
bulb and i was perplexed on how to fully remove the headlight so i could
see what i was doing. mine was completely identical to this video.

Tyler H says:

hey uhm, where is your headlight?? you pulled one wire out but i didnt
seethe bulb

Fixbook says:

@sickriz I haven’t done this on a 2010 civic but I know that it is not the
same, because i did fog lights on a 04 civic and taking the bumper off that
was a whole lot different. And the 10′ civic headlights changed a lot from
back then to now.

X4hunterx4 says:

Nice thanks!!

Keith keiths says:

thx you so much for the video 🙂 it helped meh

HaphazardousSoda says:

any good tips on cleaning the headlights? i got a 97 civic and they look
yellow/foggy just bad..

Fixbook says:

I don’t know which metal bracket you speak of.

jesse king says:

thank you for the video

oyicu says:

@h2damizzy its not good to remove the headlight cover, just becuz if the
sealing job wasnt done rite, it mite get water and crap in it, its best to
take out the housing and just clean it thru the hole where you put the
housing i say good luck

BaldwinU says:

Thanks dude 😀 awsome video 🙂

memberFU says:

I like how you let the bumper just fall on the floor like you could care
less LMFAO

fullfrontalbuddha says:

Thank you, that was well explained. Very useful, you rock!

istranghero03 says:
