Hi I did everything as you said, I can hear the locks making sound after
4th button press. But after wards teh car does not lock or unlock. Tried 2
x different key fobs. Mine in civic Hybrid 2004. Is there any specific step
to be taken

Try rebooting the car battery. Disconnect car battery for about 15 mins or
so and reconnect. Try reprogramming the remote again. If it still does not
work, try taking it to a local auto parts store that has a remote tester.
This way you will see if it in fact the remote that is bad, or something
going on with your keyless system on the car.
Hi I ordered and got the key for Honda Pilot 2007 Model. I tried to program
as said. But it is not working. Also my key type is ” A-Type” (shown in
owners manual but received “B-Type”. How to reset this key please?

It should work on a factory installed remote with trunk button shown on the
remote. If you have a dealer installed remote for your 1997 Honda Accord,
you most likely need different instructions. Please email us to get the
proper instructions if you need those.

programming instructions for those.
If you are trying to program the key to start the car, you must take it to
be programmed by a dealer or an automotive locksmith. These instructions
will only work to program the remote portion of the key.

The key has a separate transponder chip in it that must be programmed to
start the car. When you get a new key/remote there are 3 things that have
to be done: cut the key blade, program the transponder chip, program the
remote.
