i just order a bumper that comes primed as well. would it be better to wet
sand it with 600 grip or scrotch brite it for finer surface?

I recently hit a snow bank and cracked my front bumper, and am thinking of
doing this myself following the steps in this video. It’s a 2007 Lexus
ES350. From rock auto world, should I buy the CAPA certified bumper or a
reconditioned piece; the price difference is huge between the two ($65
compared to $250). Do you think 2 cans would be enough, or should i go for
3? and don’t you usually do 2-3 coats of base then 2-3 coats of clear coat?

I did a spot repair on a crack on my rear bumper cover. I wet sanded the
whole thing but looks like i burned through the clear on a few spots. What
should i do? Can i just spray a few coats of clear over it? Thanks love

So I have a bumper on a 2004 Caddy DTS that I left with my two sons 20 and
23 to witness the bumper with multiple cracks in the paint and striations.
Looks like it was also scraped under a concrete barrier or it was attacks
by a Bengal tiger.
The beauty is that the bumper is in tack, just the paint is missing in
multiple places. I live in the city and the effective way people tend to
parallel park is to hit your car. This does look like a great project I’d
like to take on but I want to know how much of the product should I
purchase?

arrives. It is for a Silver 2003 ML350 (I believe the code is 744). How
many cans do I need of each? And what are your thoughts on re-priming? I
really don’t want this stuff to start cracking after a few days…
