HI Rich, There isn’t really any particular name for it other than the trim
piece that covers the side view mirror bolts. 1aauto.com 888-844-3393

Rich Van Til says:

Can you tell me the name or part number for the piece of trim pulled off
at the 45 sec mark of this video? mine was cracked and I am thinking about
replacing it instead of gluing it. Thx!! this video did help a ton

WillShredForBread says:

should the battery be disconnected to prevent the airbag from discharging?

1A Auto Parts says:

We currently do not carry them. You may want to see if you can find a
decent one at your local salvage yard.

Elliott Ray says:

Where can I order the interior driver’s side door panel for the 02 honda
civic sedan?

1A Auto Parts says:

Non-power windows require you to remove the C-clip that holds the roller
arm in place to remove the door panel.

1A Auto Parts says:

These vehicles were not equipped with air bags in the doors so there should
be no fear of discharge during this install.

Eddy Haskel says:

Your video is very helpful. I had to remove the passenger side front door
panel on our ’02 Civic EX to fix a broken speaker mount bracket. Everything
went just as you demonstrated except the door handle part. I couldn’t
figure out how to release the clip the way you did it (maybe mine’s
different?) but I discovered the whole door handle and its little mounting
panel will slip right through the opening of the door panel if you angle it
just right. Thanks a bunch. You saved me lots of hassle
