Hello i just wanted to know if this handles would fit the 97 accord coupe ?
after i fix the lock actuator; there’s another problem. When i try to pull
the handle from the outside it automatically the lock button goes back in.
can you tell me whats wrong or is it the handle? I can open from the inside
but i have to hold it all the way to push the door out.
You may want to remove the door panel to see if something has broken off of
the lock from inside of the door.

If the other screw is still attached you should be able to match it up at
your local auto parts store.

Question would the rear door handles fit for the front? I was told their
pretty much the same just without keyholes.
@Darkmand8 You may want to recheck your connections to the actuator and
also the door handle to see if anything was connected the wrong way. Hope
this helps.
my door key hole is messed up sometimes i cant open the lock when i turn
the key. do i have to replace the door handle…mine is a honda accord 94
@mohammedsk Process would probably be similar but I don’t have a ’98-02 to
look at right now, so I can’t say for sure.
Unfortunately we would not have the specs on if the front and rear are
interchangeable.
We currently do not have a door handle repair video for that vehicle.
Very Helpful. Just replaced the handle on a 98 Accord. It was a difficult
to get the lock separated from the handle and door. Removing the retainer
clip was the hardest part. It’s not part of this video, but it was on the
98 Accord.
what about a honda 2001 civic will this work
Video was great! I took off the door panel without breaking unseen clips.
Almost broke the clip to remove the inside handle though, I took another
look at the video and did it correctly. The outside door handle was loose
because a screw was missing. I was hoping it was inside the door panel, and
unfortunately it was not. How can I find what type/size screw it is?
