To remove the lock cylinder you don't touch the 2 screws you showed. You have to remove 3 little screws on the opposite side from the plastic casing and then the C clip (retaining clip? )

Does this work on a civic 2010 DX-A? The doors lock aren't electric on that model. Also, thanks a lot for the tutorial, you guys did a great job!
