jim maddog says:

I just did this to a lawn mower I found that the air filter box the shroud on the back side if you cut that off it exposes the carb, and is much easier to see everything and be able to make adjustments to the RPM screw possible now.jim

you are good teacher. good

Terry Johnson says:

Great video- but I had to continue to backup and play several times to really see just what gasket you were installing where. Maybe take a little more time to show the gasket picture better – but you did help a lot

john collins says:

Bloody marvellous! I have this carb on an Eliet Primo shredder, second hand; looks hardly used but when I took apart the carb, one of the gaskets had slipped down (one of the bolts obviously not put through the hole!!!) blocking the full opening of the choke butterfly! Also there were what I can only describe as insect cocoons made of mud inside the carb. Couldn't get the emulsion tube out even after 20 mins in a sonic bath of water, vinegar and washing up liquid at 55°C. Now I can't find the gasket set. Two of the gaskets on mine seem to be a rubber-metal-rubber sandwich. And I don't have the metal heat deflector. Could you give links for where to buy them p!ease? Then I can put your video into practice!! (On taking off and replacing the carb a few times I've decided to use the screw-in for method you don't approve of: I think it's too easy to let one side of the gasket slip down and bugger up the full opening of the choke). Hope someone can help. Thanks in advance!

YETI's WOT stream says:

Thanks for this video. The unmarked package full of different color and material gaskets was a head scratcher for me! You’re video made it easy. If only I knew my fuel hose was going to crack and crumble along the way. Working on a project to restore an inherited SDS 216 mower (I’m not sure if ever there was a filthier carb than it)

Thanks for your time very nice video …

Rich Peltrick says:

"you know you have it wrong when the hole is too small and won't let your rod go in." Interesting.

This is the best of video to show me how to install properly your gasket set . Thank you so much

ana pena says:

Nice thank you

Scott Cushman says:

Thanks. I have the same power washer and it's been apart for a few months. Getting parts needed. Parts diagram does not pin point how you showed it. Thanks again for the video.

r. michael wilensky says:

So happy to find this video, but it was a little too late. I took apart my carb and cleaned it totally and when reinstalling it I had lost track of the gasket sequencing. I got it okay with the help of an exploded parts diagram. However I have a problem, hope you can give me a lead: I have to manually hold the chock when pulling the recoil string and hold it until a little warm. I will not stay pulled out by itself. Any suggestions will be greatly appreciated.thank you.

Dillon Metalhead says:

Great video thanks

Slow Poke says:

What causes these Honda engines to backfire. I'm having fire out of carb and exhaust. Obviously timing or valve problem to me.

Hugh Christian says:

Nice job on the video sir. Needed this reference. Thank you.

Peter Byrne says:

Thanks helped me out.

Douglas Lamberson says:

Great presentation. Perhaps show the gasket pic design a little longer to give us exactly the position in which to follow. The unit started up right away. Is it normal for the engine to pulsate with out water in a test?

Mo Mendez says:

A just changed the carb and gasket as shown for my Honda HRR2167VKA AND STILL WONT TURN ON ANY HELP WOULD BE APPRECIATE THANKS!

verlan karpinske says:

THANK YOU I FINALLY GOT MY WASHER TO WORK FOLLOWING YOUR DIRECTIONS BRAVO

Trevor Trillion says:

I HAVE THIS same carburetor on an older Honda 6.5 HP lawn mower engine. YOU, sir, are the best in explaining the gasket deformity problems, cable/throttle linkage, reassembly sequence. (got this mower for free from a past owner… many botched repair changes in reassembly ! ) I have watched 10 YOUTUBE videos by true idiot amateurs. YOURS is … good, steady, clear camera, good explanation, good ENGLISH amigo !! I am an excellent car mechanic, but couldn't handle the one cylinder Honda carb problems until I watched this!! Contact me for your questions on 16th century Spanish history? ha ha ha….. Trevor.

ken bilbrey says:

Thank you so much for making this video! I have that exact same pressure washer and I had let it sit for a long time so last year I cleaned the carb because it wouldn’t start. After I put it back together it was pouring gas out of the breather opening or somewhere around there. Sure enough when I took it apart I found that those vent ports were blocked. It runs like a scalded dog now though! Thanks again!

Dan Pearson says:

My auto choke carb is slightly different. It has plastic piece on top plus the block between the carb and head is different than the one in your video. It a spring attached to a plunger that must be a shut off or something. Any ideas about reassembly?

rich wag says:

Just to let you know you did a terrible job at showing gasket and proper way plastic block gos in

Old Vet says:

Excellent video. Thanks!! I have all the parts on order and have received most of them. This video was very helpful!!

David says:
