How do you remove an old clip that isnt already broken?
What is the PART NUMBER? Ridiculous without a part number.
I love how he was like “no tools necessary” but used a hammer
Thanks so much- my owner's manual did not have instructions on how to do this and I can't get to a Haynes manual right now.
Where Do I find the part number for CRV 2012, are all of them the same ? Thank you.
just bought a hood prop rod clip today and was wondering how to remove the old one and replace it. thankful for this demo. kudos! 🙂
My prop rod clip was missing when I bought my '04 Civic. Without it, the prop rod lays directly on the A/C hose assembly. This wore a hole in the A/C piping and when I went to ad refrigerant it sprayed out all over the place. At least it was easy to find the leak! Moral of the story…buy the CLIP!
Hi MG, I have seen a lot of 1AAuto videos. Very nice. I think this is the easiest job that anyone can do. Sometimes fuses are hard to pull out hehe. I know I have to replace my prop rod clip. Thanks for the hammer tip;)
