I did the positive wire to the positive cigarette wire and it works but when I plugged in my charger to the cigarette lighter with the fog lights on it blew the fuse. This was on a 2003 Honda Element any idea why it did that? I have it working now just not using the cigarette lighter until I can figure out why it does that any help would be appreciated

Does the fog lights come with everything as far as wiring?

Kevin Adkinson says:

This is a great tutorial! I used this as a guide to install my own fog lights on a 2002 civic. The only thing I did differently is to wire the switch on the left of the steering column. There’s another pop out panel there as well and it feels like more of a natural location to have lighting controls. I put my seat heater switches where you guys put the switch 🙂 thanks for the great videos!
