You should always use Honda oil on small Honda work engines, don’t buy the off-brand
why didn't you use the drain plug?
you should use an air hose and blow the dirt from the air filter directly into the carburetor, your method of tapping the filter in front of the open carburetor is much less efficient

Thanks, dude Fix and Play. I have a huge yard, so instead of cardboard I just tear up a piece of wheat grass, smooth it out it goes in the ground, LOL. The moles in my yard send out a clean up crew and repair (really).

LOL don't shake out your air filter right near the carb opening; crap from the filter will likely float / drift back into the carb intake
