i tried this and it wasn’t it, but I checked the fuses both side and it
turned out the fuse from passenger side was blown – I took care of it- I
think number 10- and it came back -

Hi I have a 2011 Honda accord and I was trying to install some LEDs under
my dashboard and I was trying to get them work by connecting them to the
overhead light and I made a rookie mistake the -&+ touched and the ligth
doesn’t work no more neither the a/c does that has to do anything with the
a/c because they stopped working the same day

I did exactly what you said with the paperclip and that was the problem,
the lights came on with the bypass. Then i snipped it and ran the jumper
wire between the two and now it wont work, is there something i’m missing?
Any advice would be greatfully appreciated. Thank you

Honda actually did a safety recall on their v6 models for this problem.
Dont know if it is still in effect now though. Nice fix though.

to fix the tail light check the 15 amp fuse on the passgenger side. fuse #

I’m trying to find out the same thing. My gauge lights quit working after
installing an aftermarket radio, so I think it’s pretty obvious that this
is what happened…But don’t know if this will work on an ’02 Civic. Did
you ever find an answer?

We did this, it works for the low beams and parking lights; but goes off
when you use the highbeams.

Pretty cool tip. Do you know how to replace the “D4” bulb in the dash on a
2000 Accord. When I put the car in drive it does not illuminate. Reverse,
Park, 1, 2, D3, all work. Just can’t get the D4 working. Do they have
