Your video is well done and easy to follow. And you covered small details
like clips etc.. I bought a used 98 CRV recently that has stalled
inexplicably a few times now. Honda doesn’t find a recall on my vehicle,
but it sure sounds like the same problem. I just got the part and am going
to replace it today. I am encouraged that you have not had this problem
come back.
Lifesaver. Thankyou very much 🙂
This explains why I need to prop/hold the key further round in order to
maintain the connection.
My local Honda Dealer were wanting £550+ in order to change the whole unit
and code a new set of keys.
I have just ordered the part, featured in your video, from a different
Honda Dealer for £42 Inc delivery. I have been searching for this
problem/solution for over a year now. You sir, are a legend. Thanks again.
You’ve literally just saved me £500.
