Excellent instructional video. Thank you. Any ideas on fitting the/a DAB radio antenna?
Подскажите как слушать через аух?
what year model is this car? cuz it’s the same as my dads and i have no idea what year his car is
I think I'm going to have to do this myself because Halfords in Bristol are fucking useless. You have to book a day off work (because they don't work weekends) three weeks in advance after you've paid the full amount in advance. Not going back there again.
Is this a double din your fitting
Unfortunately the Sony I just bought has recessed holes and the lugs that stick out of the Honda cage dont align and push the cage away from the stereo. Will have to have the lugs machined off and get longer M8 bolts.
Here I was hanging for the "and Bob's your uncle" 🙂 Great video explanation. Thanks!
does anyone have any touchscreen recommendations for 2006 honda crv?
I have this radio and I don't understand why it has a aux button but no aux input .
Great video and very helpful
Do steering wheel controls work ??
Any recommendations please I tried to fit Sony dsx a410bt and it doesn't fit in the cage. I need a Bluetooth supported stereo thanks
Great video and informative on how to actually remove the radio and what wiring adaptions were required. My Honda cd radio is knackered controls are intermittent and losing channel so tried to fit a Sony after my mate gave me a cd radio he had spare. This one is obviously more modern than my 2004 Honda's as it has a USB port. After that it all is a little vague. I couldn't use the brackets on my Sony CD Radio there was no hole alignment and the two centering pins on the Honda brackets prevented any form of connection so had to scrap the whole project. I noticed there was no video of you attaching the brackets to your chosen stereo replacement how did yours connect so neatly?. Also the plastic shelf did not fit so flush even if the brackets had worked. So viewers beware it's not as straight forward as it looks.
great job. does that adapter work for double din radios?
My 2006 CR-V EX has a different looking original radio, there’s no little shelf on the bottom, it’s buttons instead, I wonder if this type of aftermarket would still work. Anyone know?
Don't make the mistake of thinking these are Philips screws. They are actually JIS which is slightly different.
Hi great vid, would you know where the key1 and key2 wires would go from the connects2 stereo harness for the swc please?
Hi there, I have a very similar CRV. I'm looking to buy the Pioneer DMH-A240BT ( which you have reviewed). If I buy this alongside the adapter you mention, should it plug in and play? Will the steering wheel controls still operate too? Kind regards, Ben
Brilliant, thanks mate.
Great info, easy until I tried screwing my aftermarket onto the bracket. I have holes that just about line up but there is no thread on the indented aftermarket holes and hence does not screw in. Ideas?
This Autoleads is like 50$ on ebay. It can't be so expensive?
Real thanks, you save my life, it's realy more difficult on the 1997/2001 models…
Would this work for 2000 Honda CR-V?
My new radio won’t turn on I have everything plugged in correctly and everything
Would i be able to fit a 2 Din Radio in there?
Man, thanks so so much for this!
What about the alarm it is on my radio. Have to input security code.
Maybe you know dimensions for CR-v 2003?
